Letter from Hong Kong #2

I'm still having difficulty adjusting to local time and to the weather. Adjusting to local time will probably take a week but the weather: I don't know. Today it is forecasted to be about 30 C  with high humidity. The good news is; it will get cooler as we approach winter, if we have one here!

After having lunch with Sister in Sham Shiu Po, we went over to Tuen Mum to visit Jenny brother-in-law (Yee Lo). Tuen Mun is basically a new town created in 1969 with a population today in excess of 500,000 and still rapidly growing. In the 80's when I was living here getting to Tuen Mun was a pain, but today with the ultra modern subway system it is almost a breeze.

A shot of us with Yee Lo at the Nursing Home. He has been doing much better recently I thought he looked really good after what he has been through.

Last night after we got to the hotel I was playing with the camera to see what kind of shot I could get at night. Here is the first and once I get the tripod set up I sure I can get a much better shot. But you get the idea! Not a bad view to go to sleep and wake up each day!

  1. You're right. Yee Lo(Uncle 2)'s health situation is being improved a lot. Cheer up, Uncle Popeye(my nickname to him), love you!
